Project Description

As part of the planning and preparation for the program of work at the Centre Block, CIMS is working with Heritage Conservation Services (HCS) and the Parliamentary Precinct Directorate (PPD) of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) on the documentation and the creation of a Building Information Model (BIM) in Autodesk Revit. The Model is constructed with metric data captured from terrestrial laser scanning and photogrammetry. It will be adopted by the prime consultants (architects and engineers) as the basis for design studies, project management, and integrated project delivery.

All work performed as an employee of CIMS (Architectural Researcher), in partnership with Heritage Conservation Services (HCS) and the Parliamentary Precinct Directorate (PPD) of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC)
